Hey folks! We are a meager group, but thanks to everyone who has joined us.

Don't be shy!  Start posting sketches!  We can all grow and learn from multiple draft processes, so don't hesitate to post later drafts of the same sketch for help!

I'm Kori Michele, and I'm an alumna of the Maine College of Art.  I'm a strong believer in drafting and redrafting, as well as education about correct, constructive critique.

Since poor critique can do more harm than good, I hope to post some helpful information and start some discussions, if everyone is into it!

Thanks again for joining, and spread the word if you know anyone looking for sketch help!
Welcome to CRITIQUE MY SKETCH!

The purpose of this club is to provide a community where people can critique sketches in order to improve the final draft.

TO JOIN: Click the join button!  No application required.  All accepted.

THE MISSION: Help solve problems in the sketch phase, when they can still be changed!

Rule #1: If you SUBMIT, YOU MUST WANT CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM
By submitting to the group, you certify that you're seeking critique.  Don't be defensive or upset when people criticize your work.

Rule #2: If you CRITIQUE, YOU MUST BE FAIR AND CONSTRUCTIVE
Always be constructive.  Talk about what you see. If you can, talk about how to improve instead of just WHAT to improve.

Rule #3: If you SUBMIT, BE SPECIFIC ABOUT WHAT YOU WANT
Do you just want help with anatomy?  Say so.  Just a general crit?  Say that.  If you want specific advice, say so or you may not get the help you need.

DO SUBMIT:
-Sketches of works that you would like feedback on, especially before you move to more final drafts or more permanent media.
-Any style or genre.
-Any medium, digital and traditional.

DON'T SUBMIT: Pencil drawings you consider "finished." Work that you don't intend to finish or learn from in crit. This is not a community for showing off your work.

DON'T WORRY:
Naturally, I can't confirm if you plan on finishing a work or not, nor can you be sure if you'll ever finish it.  NO STRESS.

Current Settings:
For the moment, Submissions and Favorites will need to be approved by one vote.  I will just be making sure that they are, in fact, sketches.  The approval process will likely be removed later.
